This is a great picture of two kids, J. Patrick and Bill Smith, just enjoying being kids. The picture was taken around 1916.

Judging by the writing on the picture, these two were probably already big baseball fans.

In 1916 the World Series that year was between the Boston Red Sox and the Brooklyn Robins (later to be named the Dodgers).
