Eatonville’s Depot Hotel

It’s hard to imagine trains running through Eatonville, but it was part of life in 1912 when the Depot Hotel was built by R. Marti. In 1939 Marti’s estate sold the Depot Hotel to Mrs. G. Faris of Oakland, Calif.

To get an idea of the where it once stood, you are looking up Center Street with the Bank down at the end of the street.

The second shot you see the train running in the snow, past the Depot Hotel.

  1. Thanks for putting these pictures on the site. I have been wanting this picture to show the kids where the tracks and hotel were.
