Fourth of July Then and Now

Eatonville July 4 looking South on Mashell Ave.
Eatonville has always been a fan of the 4th of July Parade. In fact, so many people take part in the parade, I’ve always been surprised there are still some left to watch.
Judging by these two photos, the cars may have changed, but not the enthusiasm.

Notice some cars steer from the right side of the car while others steer from the left. I guess they hadn’t made up their mind if you keep to the right or left while driving.

Those were set up to show if you were republican, or democrat !!Left or right, I guess the democrats won !! Of course this is true…Would I STEER you wrong !!…LOL !!!! ( I’m just kidding, It’s all a spoof !!)

Notice all the little grils gathered around the baby in the buggy on the board walk.
Do we know when the top picture was taken? I love it.
I think it’s early 20s. I’m still in Sweden, but I can ask Pat Van Eaten when I get back if you need an exact date.
