For decades Eatonville residents — especially those that worked for the mill — shopped at the Eatonville Lumber Company store.

  1. The display counter with 2 men behind was made by the same company that built the one in the Historical Museum .They wre common in the 1900’s & can still found for sale on the internet.

  2. The picture was taken after Eatonville had telephone service. The phone is behind the man with the bow tie just to his left so it’s after 1911.

  3. The women with white hat the man in the suit & the little gril appear to be Japanese family. It makes sense because most of them worked for the mill & were expected to shop at the company store.
