Buffalo Party Convention and Pig Roast (aka Rock Festival)

I JUST missed bidding on this Buffalo Party Convention poster at a live auction. It looks like the bands lined up to play were impressive. I don’t believe they all showed up, but  there was still plenty of live music at the 1970 event.

  1. Hey, class of ’69 Tenino High School a little square at the time but things changed! Spent four years @ WSU, alass, I missed Vietnam, but deffinately got my eyes opened while trying to maintain a passing GPA.
Graaduate ’73 education. Still alive! 🙂

  2. Dianna Timm Dryden

I found an invitation to this in one of my college textbooks, though the listing of bands is a little different. I couldn’t remember the year, though I was there. Good to find out it was 1970.

  3. I’ve got an old unused ticket to this event, I used to have a leaflet they dropped from a helicopter saying “this is an illegal gathering, bla, bla, bla. But I think I lost it. I remember James Cotton and naked pregnant chicks strolling by.

    1. Thanks for the memories. If you run across the leaflet, I’d be glad to include it in the documentary. I can’t seem to find out. 🙂
