Creepy Exhibit in Eatonville Gym (ca. 1920s)

Is it just me, or is this picture a little creepy? I’m sure if I’d attended the exhibit held in the Eatonville Gym with all my friends, it would have been a blast. It looks like many of the classes exhibited, including the 1st grade.

If anyone has any information on the exhibit, please chime in.

  1. Hi Diane,
This was a manual training display during a May Day event. All the Senior boys would have building projects during the school year. This was a way to show them off in the Spring when the projects were completed. I have a large secretary desk my father built at Eatonville High School in 1928. It is fully restored and a treasured artifact.
