  1. Hi,

My Mother, Edith Berg , is the girl, third from the left, Velma LeMaster is the girl at the end with the vest, I think the boy in back of my Mother is my Uncle Fred. The building became the home of the Krones family, first Leonard and Myrtle, then Earl and Liz Krones, I visited there with my Mother many times. The building was basically unchanged for many years, including the original outhouse out back. There used to be a restaurant next to it called “The Baked Apple Inn” which also became a family home but was torn down before the schoolhouse was.

    • I should have recognized Velma. She didn’t change that much over the years. Thanks for all this information. I REALLY appreciate it. Mom said she’s going to show me where the school was, since I live really close by now. Thanks again!
