Thanks Diane for posting this picture. I used to
deliver news papers to a few tenants there, back when I had my paper route. I was telling my wife about those apartments when we were up there last summer. The building always had a odd smell inside. We stayed at a historic motel in Florence, Oregon awhile back and it had that same smell. Probably just old building and musty carpet. When I was a kid I thought it was “old people” smell. But now I am one of the “old people” I know it was just “old builing” smell.
