
These pictures are of the home T.C. Van Eaton built for his mother, Carolyn Emerson. The house is still standing, next to the large Van Eaton home above the medical billing center.
My guess is that Mrs. Emerson is the woman standing in front of the house.

Caroline Serepta Poyner VanEaton Emmerson is my great grandmother. While I was visiting Eatonville Robert VanEaton who lived across the street told me this house was built for his grandmother Caroline. The woman in front of the house does not look like any of the pictures that I have of Caroline Emmerson. I have often wondered who lived in the house after she moved to Magnolia, Iowa.

I think I got this photo from one of her grandsons. T.C. VanEaton had more than one wife.
