Before WWII, Eatonville had a significant Japanese population. Here is a picture of some of the Japanese men working at the lumber mill.

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, in 1942, the Japanese were moved to camps, including those in Eatonville. For a full story on Eatonville’s Japanese and their internment, just click HERE. Abbi Wonacott has done a fabulous job of collecting pictures and information.
