The Red Men group has a subgroup called the Pocahontas. By today’s standards this groups’ costumes are about as far away from PC as you can get. But, back then, the organization (which I believe is still active today) did a lot of good for folks and judging by the way they dressed up for things like the 4th of July Parade, the also had a lot of fun.
Even their dogs got into it.
