First Steam Donkey (early 1900s)

The first steam donkey was a big change — replacing a horse with a machine. The first picture says that Bill Hoffman is on the left — in front of the big log on the flat car. To the left is the first steam donkey.

I’m not sure where this picture comes from, except that it’s the Eatonville area. If you have any information, please share.
