As you probably know, I have a special love for Ohop Bob, a restaurant that used to look out over Ohop Valley. This shot was taken in 1934.
On the back of the postcard, Adele writes to Buck:
“This is an Inn where they serve Southern Chicken Dinner. I’ve been there about 10 times. Ohop Bob is about 29 miles from Tacoma on the Mountain Highway. You can see Ohop Valley and the mountain.”
Too back TripAdvisor didn’t exist back then. That would be a pretty good post.
